The baton was made of ebony with richly decorated silver fittings. The base has the form of a flattened ball adorned with floral ornaments and small spheres, and a conic tip that also ends with a ball. The clasps on the wooden component are decorated with a simple engraving and a pearl ornament, and end with grips shaped like acanthus leaves. Attached to the tip of the baton is a small lyre with a star. Attached to the wooden component in the middle section is a decorative silver ribbon with an engraved dedication, interlaced with a laurel branch ornament. The top section contains a decorative monogram “CT” and a number “50” above it. The formal similarity to baton no. 82 of Monika and Tadeusz Strugała’s collection indicates this baton may have been manufactured at Michał Mankielewicz’s studio, which sold its products through a store at the Grand Theatre in Warsaw
