Two-piece baton; body made of black wood, narrowing along 1/3 of the length; at the end of the wider grip part, a fitting adorned with a frieze with laurel leaves, finished with a metal “acorn” on the flat top; the narrower tip finishes with a grooved fitting and a metal “acorn”; in the mid-section, a wide fitting with room for inscription, decorated on the sides with laurel leaves and grooving; two narrow metal rings inserted into wood on both sides of the middle fitting. The baton comes with a black, rectangular case, lined with purple cloth, hollowed to store the two pieces of the baton. Similar exhibits can be encountered in J.S.
