Black baton with silver fittings; conical body made of French-polished wood; conical grip fitting with a plain, rounded top, decorated on the side with an engraved twig motif; at 1/3 of the length, a silver ring with an inscription; ring and silver rounded tip decorated analogically. Hallmarked in London in 1918; silversmith’s mark E·N (Ebenezer Newman & Co.). This commemorative baton with an inscription was presented in February 1920 to an unknown conductor by his friends as a token of their regard
