black baton with silver fittings; conical body made of black wood; octagonal grip fitting, widening at the end and finished with a small knob, decorated with impressed flowers, twigs and points on the side; octagonal ring in the middle, decorated with similar impressed motives, supplemented with an inscription frame; tip of the baton finished with a fitting decorated with minute points; hallmarked in London in 1888, silversmith’s mark J.H.R; on the side of the grip fitting, English  Design Registry Number: RD No 105524. Similar exhibits can be found in the same collection under inventory numbers JSW 104, 168, 35
