Black, two-piece baton, screwed together at half-way point, with an internal metal connector; conical body made of black, French-polished wood; silver fittings on the grip and the screw, engraved with a floral ornament; plain tip fitting; inscription engraved on the grip fitting. Hallmarked in London in 1925; silversmith’s mark: T.W.D
