Baton made of light wood with silver fittings; conical body made of oiled wood; serrated metal fittings on both ends, engraved with floral patterns; at 2/5 of the length, a decorative ring was attached with an inscription. The baton was presented to W. Sheddon by the members of the Excelsior Flute Band in 1878 (town unknown)
