White baton with gold fittings; conical body made of light wood coated with white paint; grip fitting made of gold, plain on the sides with an engraved inscription; atop the fitting, a miniature bas-relief with an image of St. Cecilia, representing a profile of a veiled woman’s head in a halo with an inscription ST. CAECILIA surrounded with stars; the saint holds a long ribbon with the notation of an antiphon sung on St. Cecilia’s day, with visible neumes and lyrics, "Cantantibus organis Caecilia Domino de[cantabat]"; "meum immac[ulatum]" (tr. When the instruments resounded, Cecilia sang to the Lord, my immaculate [heart]); plain, blunt gold tip fitting; at 1/4 of the body, a perpendicular hole with a gold fitting, possibly intended for a decorative string
