black baton with silver fittings; conical body made of dark wood; grip fitting with an octagonal section, conically widening with a flat tip, geometric ornaments and twig engravings; at 1/3 of the length, an octagonal ring was added, adorned in an analogical fashion, with an inscription; rounded tip fitting, decorated with a twig motif. The baton is hallmarked for London 1900. As per inscription, the baton was presented to Geo[rg?] Summers by the Bethesda choir, which he most likely conducted (Bethesda denotes the name of the choir and possibly the name of a town in Great Britain)
