The collection of the National Museum in Warsaw is represented by two exceptionally decorative batons of Ignacy Jan Paderewski, which he received as tokens of highest musical esteem. One of the two batons was previously owned by the conductor Jan Quattrini. These exhibits are great examples of batons as costly and finely crafted presents for musicians who were not necessarily conductors themselves.
