Body made of black-lacquered or black-painted wood, narrowing from the halfway point towards the tip; grip fitting decorated with a frieze with a braiding pattern, adorned atop with a metal “acorn”; tip fitting decorated with a fitting decorated with a frieze of stars, finished with a small metal ball; wide metal ring in the middle of the body with room for inscription, adorned with a braiding motif. A similar baton can be found in the same collection under inventory number JSW 22
