Black baton with silvered fittings, cylindrical cone made of French-polished wood, with metal cylindrical fittings with inscriptions, engraved with a wavy ornament; one of the fittings crowned with acanthus leaves, a rosette, and a small bowl; hallmark: silvered metal I/O; date inferred from a nearly identical baton in the same collection under inventory number JSW 136. The baton was presented to the conductor Gerzabeck on the 5^th anniversary of the music society “Liedertafel” in Heidenau.
