a two-part baton, screwed together; the conic core was made of brigh wood and finished with a silver fitting at the tip of the bulb, with an octagonal section (largely bent); each component has a characteristic leaf-themed engraving with a somewhat simplified, angular contour (the same leaf motif on octagonal fittings can be encounters in other batons from the same collection, nos. 75, 100, 101, 112; also visible on another fitting in baton no. 162); as per the hallmark, the baton was stamped in London in 1919
